All spiritual consultation is confidential. Any matters discussed during consultation will be held in sacred trust, never to be revealed to a third party without the consent of the client. There are only two exceptions to maintaining this spiritual trust: 1) if clients discuss facts that indicate a child or elder is being neglected or abused, the consultant will report the matter to law enforcement. 2) if clients reveal they pose a threat of clear and immediate harm to themselves or others, the consultant will talk to the client about committing to a plan for safety. If the client will not agree to a safety plan, the consultant will notify the proper authorities.
